Advocating for the Stewardship, Protection, and Enhancement of Natural Resources in Catoosa County, Georgia.
The Catoosa County Conservation District is a service based organization that advocates for the stewardship, protection and enhancement of the natural resources of Catoosa County to sustain and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
Our vision is to be a professional conservation organization that provides high- quality programs and services to our present and future residents as we work together to conserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of Catoosa County.
The Catoosa County Conservation District consists of five volunteers, or District Supervisors, who serve on the board. Three of these Supervisors are elected by county voters for four-year terms; the other two supervisors are appointed by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission for two-year terms. There is also a District Program Assistant who assists the District with administrative work and outreach.
The Catoosa County Conservation District meets the second Friday of every month at 8:00am at UGA Extension Catoosa County, 43 Maple Street, Ringgold, GA 30736.
All meetings are open to the public. We invite you to attend!
We are dedicated to improving natural resources conservation in Catoosa County. Any donation will go directly towards conservation initiatives and conservation education in our county.
